The Secret the Democrats Don’t Want You to Know

What could it possibly be? What secret, if it got out, would blow the Democrat’s cover… and their entire political strategy out of the water?

Actually, it shouldn’t come as a complete surprise since the Democrat Party supported slavery and segregation, enacted and enforced Jim Crow laws throughout the south, and fought against both women’s suffrage and the Civil Rights movement. You talk about being on the wrong side of history!

The truth of the matter is that – despite its long and sordid history of being a party of racists, bigots, and misogynists – the Democrats have somehow convinced minorities over the past 50 years that they are the party of the oppressed and underprivileged. Today, those duped and misguided constituents comprise the Democrat National Committee’s most reliable voting bloc… and they cannot win a national election without them.

The bad news for the Dems, as Kamala Harris found out last November, is that minority voters are finally waking up. At first, they were simply tired of being taken for granted. Now they realize the Democrats have been playing them for fools for decades.

As former NBA star and current TV analyst Charles Barkley said last March, “The reason I think the Democratic Party… is losing Black votes is they only care about Black people every four years.”

Sounds like a “Come to Jesus” moment to me!

But it doesn’t stop there. Barkley went on to say that “They [the Democrats] come into our neighborhoods and say ‘we’re going to make stuff better. We’re going to do this, do this, do this.’ And then finally, us Black people are like ‘yo man… all my neighborhoods is still the same. Our schools are still the same.’ And that’s why Black people are being disappointed in the Democratic Party.”

Barkley, who says that he has only voted for one Republican in his life, admitted that he understands why some Black people are shifting to the right politically. And it’s not just a handful either. Although Black voters still overwhelmingly support Democratic candidates, their current 47-point lead over Republicans is the lowest margin ever recorded and has shrunk by almost 20 points since 2021.

That’s not just a trend. That’s a cataclysmic realignment that is transforming the political landscape for generations to come.

In 2020, Joe Biden received a whopping 91% of the Black vote, a fairly standard number for a Democratic presidential candidate. However, just four years later, only 83% of Black voters supported Kamala Harris, the first Black women to be nominated for president by a major political party. The drop-off was especially pronounced among Black men, whose support for Harris fell to just 71%. And whereas Black women (90%) and Blacks over 55 (93%) continued to vote the straight party line, only 75% of Black voters ages 18-54 supported the Democrat ticket.

Trust me… those numbers set off alarm bells at 430 South Capitol Street SE in Washington DC, otherwise known as the DNC headquarters. So did the exit polls that showed that Hispanic men favored Donald Trump over Kamala Harris, 50%-49%, a net 35-point swing in favor of the GOP since 2020. Even more troubling for DNC Chair Ken Martin was the Republicans’ net 45-point gain among young Hispanic voters.

Faced with the very real possibility of losing both the minority and the youth vote, Martin and company have only one tired old weapon left in their rapidly diminishing political arsenal and it is this: they must play (for the umpteenth time) the race card.

Much to the Democrats’ chagrin, racism is a relic from the distant past. Most Americans today have adopted Dr. King’s dream of judging people by the “content of their character” instead of by the color of their skin. As a result, the Democrats’ political playbook is in tatters.

Instead of updating their decades-old strategy, the Dems have predictably and pathetically chosen to fan into flame the last few dying embers of racism. For instance, they try to portray the cost-cutting measures being implemented by D.O.G.E. as targeting minorities when, in fact, the monies saved will benefit all Americans regardless of race, color, or creed. They also cry racism when DEI mandates are repealed as if minorities lack the qualifications to succeed on their own merits (which sure sounds like a racist stereotype to me).

The fact of the matter is that racism is on life support and the vast majority of Americans can’t wait to pull the plug. Unfortunately, the Democrats keep insisting on resuscitating the patient because it is the only way they can cling to their last vestiges of power.

Watching Al Sharpton inject racism into every political conversation by reciting a litany of 40-year-old offenses is as tedious and tiresome as it is offensive and nauseating. So is listening to AOC and her fellow Squad members trying to pound the square racism peg into whatever round hole they can find.

Give it up, girls. One size does not fit all.

Whether the Dems like it or not, America has embarked on an age of racial harmony. They can jump aboard or get run over… it’s up to them. Just stop tearing up the tracks for the rest of us.
