The Democrats Circular Firing Squad

Forget about Steve Martin and Jerry Seinfeld. Say goodbye to Kevin James and Kevin Hart. Adios Chris Rock, au revoir Dave Chapelle, and hasta la vista Eddie Murphy.
The funniest comedians in America today are the politicians and pundits in the Democratic Party and the mainstream media (yes, I just repeated myself) who are playing the “blame game” after last Tuesday’s electoral blowout. The reasons they are giving for Kamala Harris’ loss and Donald Trump’s win are side-splittingly funny. They are also hypocritical to the max.
Here is a sampling of who is being blamed (and why) for the red wave that swept across America last week…
Guilty Party #1 is Joe Biden. The very same people who hid him in a basement bunker in 2020 and then lied about his obvious cognitive decline are now blaming “Geritol Joe” for staying in the race too long. They have gone from telling America that he was sharp as a tack and fit as a fiddle to publicly admitting that he is a shell of his former self. Too little, too late if you ask me. Yes, Joe Biden has an insatiable ego, but you are the ones that spoon-fed it for three and a half years.
Guilty Party #2 is minority men. For generations, the Democratic Party has relied on black and Hispanic Americans to toe the line and vote straight blue. Believe our rhetoric and ignore our record. After all, we pay you (literally) to vote, not think. But somewhere along the line, minorities – and especially minority men – started looking around at things like jobs, food and gas prices, energy policy, inflation, and the economy and decided it was time to leave the plantation. And just like that, their former masters turned on them en masse, accusing them of being closet misogynists all along. Rev. Al Sharpton even went so far as to call them racists for not supporting a black woman.
Guilty Party #3 is white women. Kamala Harris ran on two issues: Donald Trump is evil, and women should have the right to murder their own preborn children. Much to her surprise and dismay, female voters aren’t that one-dimensional. They go grocery shopping and see first-hand the soaring prices of eggs, milk, meat, and butter (even if Joe Scarborough doesn’t). And yes, some of them even love their babies.
Surprisingly, very few Democrats are blaming Kamala Harris for losing to Donald Trump – a man she called a fascist and a threat to democracy while comparing him to Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Benito Mussolini. Maybe you overplayed your hand just a bit, Kamala? Likewise, no one is saying, at least publicly, that Harris should have given more interviews early in the campaign or tougher ones late in the game. Instead, they are offering a series of excuses for one of the poorest-run presidential campaigns in modern history.
When asked on The View what she would do differently than Joe Biden, a man with a 38% approval rating, Harris drew a blank. Sorry, lady, but that one’s on you. Loyalty is one thing, but publicly embracing high inflation, open borders, and a disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal wasn’t just wrong. It was also very, very dumb.
I guess if you really want someone to blame other than Joe and Kamala, you could look in Jill Biden’s direction. The power-hungry First Lady knew better than anyone that her hubby was a few fries short of a Happy Meal, but she pushed hard for him to run for re-election anyway… only to watch in horror as he and his campaign crashed and burned on the tarmac, lacking the necessary fuel for take-off. How any loving wife could do that to her cognitively-challenged husband is beyond me.
Other culprits – at least from my vantage point – include Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer. These three paid political assassins performed the most cold-blooded coup since Marcus Brutus and his co-conspirators knifed Julius Caesar 23 times in the back. They then compounded their crime by forgoing a primary or an open convention in favor of anointing Kamala Harris as Joe’s designated survivor. To say that their sinister scheme blew up in their faces would be a gross understatement.
It’s also called karma.
