Our Pathetically Pandering President

Is there anything more pathetic than watching an increasingly desperate 81-year-old white man – with a history of making racist comments – pandering to Black Americans in an all-too-transparent attempt to buy their votes, boost his sagging poll numbers, and win re-election? And yet, that’s exactly what President Biden is doing on his latest campaign tour focused on predominantly Black audiences.

It all started at Morehouse College, an HBCU school founded in Atlanta in 1867 that has produced Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (as well as his father and two sons), Herman Cain, Spike Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, Julian Bond, Maynard Jackson, Raphael Warnock, and Edwin Moses among its many illustrious graduates. President Biden went there to deliver a commencement address but wound up sowing discord and disunity with his racially divisive comments.

Here’s a small sampling of Geritol Joe’s pathetic panderings at Morehouse…

Pander #1 – “I got more Morehouse men in the White House telling me what to do than I know what to do. You all think I’m kidding, don’t you? You know I’m not. And it’s the best thing that’s happened to me.”

Really, Joe? The absolute best thing that’s ever happened to you during your eight-plus decades of life was being ordered around the White House by the minorities on your staff?

Pander #2 – “What is democracy if Black men are being killed in the street?”

Oops, Joe, you forgot to mention that according to FBI statistics, 88% of Black murder victims were killed by Black perpetrators.

Pander #3 – “What is democracy if a trail of broken promises still leave Black communities behind?”

Oops again, Joe. This time you forgot to mention that according to the Pew Research Center, 81% of Black Americans live in urban or suburban areas where the Democrat Party is usually in control… and has been for decades.

Pander #4 – “What is democracy if you have to be 10 times better than anyone else to get a fair shot?”

Hmmm… try telling that to white athletes who comprise just 25% of the NFL and only 17% of the NBA; or to Asian and Indian students who are denied college admission and scholarships because they are supposedly over-represented. Simply put, race shouldn’t matter when it comes to jobs, college enrollment, or mortgages. Talent, experience, potential, and a Morehouse-level education should be the deciding factors… and they usually are.

Pander #5 – “And most of all, what does it mean, as we’ve heard before, to be a Black man who loves his country even if it doesn’t love him back in equal measure?

That’s a curious thing for a man to say who served as VP under America’s first Black President, Barack Obama, who received almost 70 million votes (including 43% of the white vote) in 2008 and almost 66 million votes (including 39% of the white vote) in 2012.

Sleazy Joe went on to attribute “Black men being killed on the streets” to white supremacy. That’s an out-and-out lie Joe, unless the Black men who pulled the trigger in 88% of Black murders were also closet Nazis or members of the Aryan Nation.

And yes, Joe, you also shamefully tried to fuel racial tensions by falsely claiming that there are “constant attacks on Black election workers who count your votes” as well as “extremist forces aligned against the meaning and message of Morehouse.” All this from a man who – in hopefully his one and only inaugural address – used the words “unity”, “union”, and “uniting” twelve times… including a pledge to “be a President for all Americans” and “to fight as hard for those who did not support me as for those who did.”

Then there is the almost comical vow Sleepy Joe made at his inauguration …

“Today, on this January day, my whole soul is in this: Bringing America together. Uniting our people. And uniting our nation.”

If you believe any of those lies… I mean promises… no, I mean lies… then I have a bridge in Brooklyn you may be interested in buying.

(With a recent New York Times/Siena College poll showing former President Donald Trump winning more than 20% of the Black vote in six battleground states, President Biden has launched an all-out-effort to stop the “ballot bleeding” in minority communities. Over the past two weeks, Creepy Joe has met with plaintiffs from the Brown vs. Topeka BOE case; spoken at the National Museum of African American History and Culture; met with members of the Divine Nine, a collection of historic Black fraternities and sororities; and attended a NAACP Fight for Freedom Fund dinner in Detroit. He also reinforced racial stereotypes by bragging to Black audiences that his administration was going to reclassify marijuana from a Schedule I drug to a Schedule III drug.)
