Justin Bieber for President

OK, not really. In fact, I couldn’t name a single song that Justin Bieber has written or sung if you offered me a million dollars. All I know about him is that he has a lot of tattoos, is married to a model, and they recently had their first child.

Oh, and this, some words that he shared on stage at a recent concert…

“I met a person, right. I met this person, and this person was born in a barn in Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago. This man lived a sinless life. This man willingly went to the cross for you and I. This man didn’t get murdered, He have His life on the cross. He then rose again three days later, defeating death, hell, and the grave. My debt is paid, my debt is paid. This is the only man that I’ve ever met who was willing to take me broken, scarred, but He made me new. He made me new.”

Pretty bold and politically incorrect talk from the former teen idol who has had more than his share of brushes with the law, drugs, and lascivious living. And yet, that was not the first time that Bieber has shared his faith on stage. On June 29th, Bieber told the audience at another sold-out concert the following…

“You may not be used to this kind of atmosphere, but what you’re feeling right now is the presence of God. And He doesn’t need perfect people. He just wants to use average, ordinary, broken people like us. I’m tired of religion, I’m tired of division, I just want to know what it’s like to love people. I just wanna know that Jesus who goes to where the broken people are, you know. No one’s got it together, but we do gotta hope. His name is Jesus and He’s changed my life.”

In between those two concerts, another prominent person took the stage at a packed arena in La Crosse, Wisconsin, but her message was entirely different. After ranting and raving about how Donald Trump appointed three pro-life judges to the Supreme Court and how those appointments voted to overturn Roe v. Wade (and supposedly deny women the right to murder their own preborn children), some people in the audience shouted out “Jesus is Lord!”

How did Kamala Harris respond to the hecklers? Did she holler “Amen” in wholehearted agreement like she would have if she had been trolling for votes at a black church? Did she repent – on the spot – for her unbiblical support of abortion-on-demand?

Nope. Instead, with a devilish smile, Harris quipped, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally. No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street.” Amused by her own craftiness, she then broke down into her all-too-familiar cackle while her adoring pro-infanticide audience cheered the smack-down.

The moral of those two diametrically opposed events is this: don’t go to a Justin Bieber concert unless you want to hear him testify about his personal faith in Jesus and don’t attend a Harris for President rally unless you are prepared to worship at the altar of child sacrifice.
