Go Woke... and Become a Joke

Yesterday, I referenced an interview with an active-duty serviceman who lamented the U.S. military’s inability to meet its recruitment goals. In his comments, the gentleman cited a sense of loneliness and isolation amongst Millennials as a possible reason.

Let me give you two more…

Most men and women join the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Marines, the Coast Guard, or the Space Force for one reason: to serve, protect, and defend our country. Sure, they may also be looking for a steady job with a guaranteed income, full benefits, and opportunities for advancement. However, by and large, they are patriots who are willing to make sacrifices – including the ultimate one – for America.

I can also tell you what they are NOT looking for: to be used as a political weapon or a social experiment.

Two years ago, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin called climate change an “existential threat” to U.S. security and pledged to use our Armed Forces to combat it both here and abroad. Shows you what I know. I thought our biggest enemies were China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.

Unfortunately, the Biden Administration seems hell-bent on using our military might to chase after rising tides, warmer temperatures, and higher CO2 levels, despite evidence showing that climatic changes are both cyclical and not as dramatic as portrayed. For instance, guess how much global temperatures have increased since before the pre-industrial age (1880-1900)? You’d better sit down for this one, because the answer is a whopping 1 degree Celsius or 2 degrees Fahrenheit. Worldwide sea levels? Would you believe they have risen just 8-9 inches in the past 143 years? And until China and India stop polluting the atmosphere, America’s attempts at reducing carbon emissions not only won’t make a difference, but they will also result in our economic suicide.

But don’t let facts get in the way, because Sleepy Joe, Gen. Austin, and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley are determined to wage war on the climate change Bogeyman… at the same time that China is poised to invade Taiwan and Iran is seeking to develop nuclear weapons. Way to keep your eye on the ball, Joey!

As for the social experimentation aspect of today’s military, let’s ask Jamie Farr what he thinks of biological men wearing women’s uniforms. Farr, who played Corporal Klinger in the hit TV series MASH, tried to get a Section 8 discharge from the Army by crossdressing. Back then, such antics would land you in the brig, but today they put you in line for a promotion.

While Nero fiddles in the White House, making sure that promoting the radical LGBTQ+ agenda is at the top of our military’s To Do list, our adversaries are finetuning their most advanced weapon systems and preparing for all-out war. Guess who the Vegas odds favor in such a confrontation?

Not the crossdressing, climate change focused U.S. military, which is in danger of losing its position as the greatest fighting force the world has ever known. Not because of the men and women on the front lines, but because of the Progressive panderers in the upper brass.
