Are you as tired as I am of Democrats being generous with other people's money but skinflints when it comes to digging into their own pockets? Well, apparently it starts at the top with the current residents of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue doing a rather convincing imitation of Ebenezer Scrooge.

Joe and Jill Biden's adjusted gross income for 2022 was $579,514. After paying $137,658 in federal income taxes, the Bidens - whose net worth is estimated at $9 million - donated a paltry $20,180 to charitable organizations. That's just 3.5% of their income.

Among the charities to receive a few breadcrumbs from Joe and Jill's lavish table was their home parish, St. Joseph on the Brandywine, which got a measly $1,680 from the First Couple. St. Edmond's in Rehoboth Beach, where the Bidens have a vacation home valued at $2 million, was the recipient of a whopping $150 (no, that’s not a typo).

Holy Trinity Catholic Church, a Jesuit parish in Georgetown, and St. Peter’s Church on Capitol Hill received $175 and $500, respectively, while Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde, Texas benefitted from the multi-millionaire Bidens to the tune of just $250.

In case you're wondering if this was a one-time aberration, here is a Bloomberg headline from 2022... "Bidens Report $610,702 in Income Last Year, Trim Charity Giving"

Perhaps most disappointing, considering how often Joe refers to his deceased son for political purposes, the First Couple coughed up just $5,000 to support the Beau Biden Foundation, which fights child abuse. Toss in a $2,000 gift to the Fraternal Order of Police and a $1,000 write-off to the Cranston Heights Fire Company and you pretty much have the totality of Joe and Jill's charitable giving for 2022.

Way to lead by example... NOT!!!
