Cackling Kamala Lays an Egg

In football terms, Kamala Harris just fumbled the ball on her very first carry by choosing Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota to be her vice-presidential running mate over Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania and Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona. Truth be told, I think the GOP was worried sick about the prospects of Shapiro, a popular governor with a 65% approval rating, joining, solidifying, and energizing the Democratic ticket. The same goes for Kelly, who would have brought a more moderate tone and serious military and foreign policy experience to counterbalance Harris’s incompetence and radicalism.

But as I said in yesterday’s blog, Queen Kamala caved “big time” to the Progressives, the Looney Left, and the party elite… and now she has no one to blame but herself.

On her second carry from scrimmage, which was the campaign rollout with Walz in Philadelphia on Tuesday evening, Harris didn’t just fumble again. This time, she laid an egg the size of the Rocky statue in the City of Brotherly Love.

It was almost as if Harris had to publicly convince herself that Walz was the right pick. Her words rang hollow and her attempts to energize the crowd were awkward at best and insincere at worst. In fact, the entire rally came across as totally contrived and devoid of any real substance or energy.

Maybe picking Philadelphia, the largest city in Pennsylvania, to launch a Shapiro-less ticket wasn’t the best idea. But then again, rallying in Minneapolis, which Walz allowed to burn to the ground during the “Summer of Love”, might have brought back some uncomfortable memories.

Either way, Kamala demonstrated that she has no business being in the starting lineup, let alone calling the plays behind center.
