Dear friend,

This year's election is coming down to two issues: honesty and effectiveness.

On Friday, September 5th, the Courier-Post published an editorial that began with these words: "Plain and simple, Rob lied to voters." That same day, the Philadelphia Inquirer's editorial board called Rob Andrews "a bare-faced liar."

Over the past year, Rob Andrews has lied to Senator Frank Lautenberg, his Democratic colleagues in Congress, the media, his own family and the people of South Jersey.

Enough is enough.

I am a minister and I can promise you one thing - I will never lie to you. Not to get elected and not to get re-elected. I simply won't do it.

I can also promise you that when I am elected, I won't use my position to continuously run for higher office. In fact, I have already signed a term limit pledge.

During his 18 years in Congress, Rob Andrews has introduced 581 bills; however, only one of them has been enacted into law. That gives Rob a congressional "batting average" of .002. In other words, South Jersey taxpayers have paid Rob more than $2,000,000 in salary and have received virtually nothing in return.

It's time we sent a fellow citizen to represent us in Congress, not a career politician like Rob Andrews. And it's time we elected a congressman who will spend his time getting things done for South Jersey instead of constantly running for higher office.

Together, we can take back the 1st Congressional District and return it to its rightful owners - the people.
